RA Photo Club Presents The Focus Series

The RA Photo Club is pleased to kick off the inaugural events in its new annual Focus Series. The Focus Series invites a photographer noted for his unique combination of talent, skills and technique to present their work to the Club. As an extra special feature, the opportunity to learn some of these techniques is provided through a workshop given by the Focus Photographer. This year our guest speaker is internationally recognized photographer Julie Waterhouse.
Glenn Bloodworth has been seriously photographing just over four years and is currently studying the Masters Program at SPAO. His passion is in black and white fine art prints. For Glenn, photography is a window into the wonders that astound us; for the truths that still confound us. Photography is his way of connecting with what he sees; striving not to capture images, but to fashion insights that empower, that assert the subject, that engage the viewer and that reverberate in the heart before ultimately resonating in the brain.

We are the largest and best equipped photography club in the National Capital Region, with over 300 members.
Club activities include presentations by guest speakers, indoor and outdoor photography shoots, showing our prints and slides, photo competitions, knowledge exchange, special workshops for beginners to advanced, and more.
Members have access to film and digital audio-visual capabilities, a complete darkroom, digital lab, photo studio, print gallery, and a lending library with the latest photography magazines.
